Pace-Setters "Freedom and Justice" 1971

I know this isn't news to most of you.  But this track just popped up on my iTunes shuffle function.  And I had to make sure somebody else heard it besides me today.

The Pace-Setters, "Freedom and Justice."
Kent 45 #KS 4565, 1971
Phelps Collins - guitar, Frank Waddy, Philippe Wynne, William Collins - bass

Phelps aka Catfish and William aka Bootsy.  Within a one-year span right during this time, these cats cut "Super Bad," "Soul Power," "Sex Machine," "Talking Loud & Saying Nothing," "The Grunt" and others with James Brown.  Then Parliament-Funkadelic, then Bootsy's Rubber Band.  Boggles the mind!
